“September 2011 represented a positive month, at least for our fund selection, on a peer group relative basis. The vast majority of our fund selections were above average – perhaps a reflection of them being relatively defensive in nature. Those that are slightly more aggressive in nature, such as Fidelity SE Asia and Schroder UK Alpha, suffered by contrast, but their long-term track records have been fantastic.”
