“Most major stockmarkets started the new year on a positive note. A rally has started in equities and is pulling along credit, commodities and emerging market currencies. Investors are getting support, with improved economic data and central banks signalling further easing. Nevertheless the EMU’s current situation remains unchanged compared to the close of last year. The January summit brought some positive signals, but further progress in Greek debt talks are still missing. Our portfolio, which is allocated according to C-Quadrat Best Fonds Strategy, increased its exposure to risky assets.”
